Building Community Impact – Goodwill Store & Donation Centre, St. Albert

TCA Developments partnered with Goodwill Industries of Alberta to deliver a comprehensive renovation of a 25,000 sq. ft. commercial space in St. Albert, transforming it into a modern and efficient Goodwill Store and Donation Centre.

This full-scale project included the demolition and redesign of the existing space to support Goodwill’s operational and community engagement goals. Key upgrades included power and data connections for each point-of-sale register, seven wireless access points (WAPs) throughout the store, functional office, and large warehouse, as well as network wiring for 19 security cameras and a security keypad system. We also installed fibreglass reinforced plastic (FRP) paneling, upgraded office ventilation, and enhanced the staff area including paint, new t-bar ceiling, flooring and an upgraded janitor's rooms.

Following the main build, Goodwill retained TCA Developments for additional projects across Alberta, including custom office builds, soundproofed spaces, window installations, electrical modifications, and HVAC enhancements.

A meaningful part of this partnership was welcoming a Career Connections participant named Rahim, who gained valuable hands-on experience in painting, electrical work, and equipment use under the mentorship of our incredible team.
